RAFINOSE
A rafinose é um açúcar complexo presente em cereais, frutas, legumes e sementes oleaginosas, entre outros alimentos de origem vegetal. Mas o que é carboidrato complexo?
É um açucar formado por açúcares menores, ligados entre si. O problema é que não é fácil para o nosso organismo quebrar estas ligações para que os açúcares sejam absorvidos devido à deficiência da enzima ALFA GALACTOSIDASE. Estes carboidratos não digeridos são, então, fermentados pelas bactérias intestinais, produzindo GASES, muitas vezes bastante incômodos!
